Potters Clay 20kg - White

This Potters Clay is a versatile pure stoneware clay that is easily hand mouldable and can be either air-dried or vitrified to form objects. If vitrified, the objects are safe to leave outdoors or eat off and are dishwasher friendly. If air dried, the objects are not suitable for outdoor weather and neither are they dishwasher safe. 

It is 80 mesh white clay suitable for even raku firings due to its good thermal shock resistance. It is remarkably low shrinkage - 5-8% on air drying, and about 16% when fired. Firing range - Cone 9-10 (1257-1282 degrees Centigrade).
