Tyvek wristbands are made from a very strong synthetic plastic material of spun high-density polyethylene fibres that is difficult to tear. It is waterproof, lightweight and can be easily adjusted to fit most wrist sizes. Virtually tamper proof, due to a series of die-cuts at the point of adhesion.
