The Detecta-Pen Metal Detectable X-ray Visible Retractable Ballpoint Pen is made from a special high density polyethylene formulation that contains a metal detectable and and X-ray visible additive that is non-toxic. It also incorporates silver ion antibacterial technology that is effective against E-Coli, MRSA & Salmonella. This pen has been designed to cater to food processing and pharmaceutical industries with properties that minimise contamination risks and improve food safety. All materials used in the construction of these pens feature extensive food contact approvals including EU & FDA compliance. The  high quality stainless steel ink cartridge further adds to the detectability of the pen. This comes with a pocket clip and hole for securing by chain onto workstations.
